Odíhg Èrlàv (/ɛr/ /ləv/ [intestine] [skilled]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ftiyāobāt Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Odíhg Èrlàv is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Èrlàv was founded by Glêlê Belíhgùru, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Odíhg Èrlàv has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Odíhg Èrlàv receives an average of 248 cm/y (97 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Odíhg Èrlàv covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3836 m (12585 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Èrlàv was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1144, by Glêlê Belíhgùru. The establishment of Odíhg Èrlàv was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Glêlê Belíhgùru electing to pay people to resettle in Odíhg Èrlàv.
Odíhg Èrlàv was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Èrlàv is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Odíhg Èrlàv is buildings have been located at convienant points along the dale Odíhg Èrlàv was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the narrow flagstone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Right off the bat Odíhg Èrlàv hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.
Civic Infrastructure
Odíhg Èrlàv possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.
Odíhg Èrlàv has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Èrlàv. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Odíhg Èrlàv's parks.
Odíhg Èrlàv has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Odíhg Èrlàv.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Odíhg Èrlàv has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Odíhg Èrlàv's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Odíhg Èrlàv possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Odíhg Èrlàv's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.
Odíhg Èrlàv possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Èrlàv's natural decorations nor waterways.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Odíhg Èrlàv's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is recurring in Odíhg Èrlàv.
The Leshy, Gourd near Odíhg Èrlàv are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Odíhg Èrlàv's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves performance art to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 3 via divine sermons.

Odíhg Èrlàv is cursed with recurrent spells of some troublesome disease. The affliction isn’t so fatal as to make living there impossible, but it adds suffering and expense to local lives. The plague might be the product of an ancient curse, the results of long lost toxic remains, or an unavoidable byproduct of whatever industry or purpose justifies the city. It’s probably not overly contagious, but visitors may be in some peril all the same.
Odíhg Èrlàv has a substantial mill pond located a short distance from town.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami spared the town from the rampage of a legendary monster. One of Odíhg Èrlàv's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
